KEEFUN is a broad-spectrum contact insecticide containing Tolfenpyrad 15% EC, developed in Japan and introduced in India for effective control of Diamond Back Moth (DBM) and sucking pests like thrips, jassids, aphids, and other insect pests.

KEEFUN belongs to the pyrazole group with a novel mode of action (METI) and works by inhibiting the electron transport chain in pest mitochondria, leading to cessation of energy production and death of the insect.

Method of Application
- Apply KEEFUN as a foliar spray at the early stage of crop infestation for best results.
- Ensure thorough and uniform coverage of the plant canopy as this is a contact insecticide.
- Use adequate water volume — at least 200 litres per acre or more depending on crop canopy.
- Rotate with insecticides having different modes of action to avoid resistance development.
- Avoid spraying if rainfall is expected within 6 hours after application.

KEEFUN is a METI (Mitochondrial Electron Transfer Inhibitor) compound that affects pest mitochondria through contact and ingestion, disrupting energy production and resulting in pest death.
