Product Description
Katyayani Ditox is an insect growth regulator insecticide containing Diflubenzuron 25% WP (Wettable Powder), manufactured by Katyayani Organics.
Key Features & Mode of Action
- Active Ingredient: Diflubenzuron 25% WP.
- Insect Growth Regulator: It is a urea-derived insecticide.
- Mode of Action: It inhibits chitin production during insect larval development, thereby disrupting moulting and development.
Main Control (Target Pests)
- Mosquito larvae (Aedes, Anopheles, Culex).
- Housefly maggots.
- Other larvae and pests such as armyworm, leafminer, whitefly, termite, and fungus gnats.
Target Areas
- Surface water, sewage or soak pits, latrines, and septic tanks.
- Poultry manure, garbage, and dumping areas.
- Home gardens, terrace gardens, nurseries, and indoor plants.
Dosage & Application
- For Water Surfaces: 10–40 grams per acre through spraying.
- For Pits or Tanks: Approximately 1.0 mg per litre of water.
- For Manure or Garbage: Approximately 5.0 grams per 10 square metres.
