Tata Rallis Atrataf Herbicide (Atrazine 50% WP)
Atrataf Herbicide
Atrataf Herbicide is a highly effective pre-emergence herbicide containing Atrazine 50% WP as its active ingredient. It provides excellent control of a wide range of annual broadleaf and grassy weeds in maize and sugarcane. Atrataf works by inhibiting Photosystem II during photosynthesis, disrupting electron transport and preventing weed growth at the germination stage while remaining highly selective and safe for recommended crops.
Active Ingredient
- Atrazine 50% WP
Benefits
- Excellent pre-emergence control of grassy and broadleaf weeds.
- Prevents early weed competition for nutrients, moisture, and sunlight.
- Long-lasting residual weed control.
- Improves crop establishment and overall productivity.
- Safe for maize and sugarcane when applied according to recommendations.
- Helps reduce labour required for manual weeding.
Mode of Action
Atrazine inhibits Photosystem II in susceptible weeds by disrupting electron transfer during photosynthesis. It is absorbed mainly through the roots and emerging shoots of germinating weeds, stopping cell division and meristematic activity, resulting in effective weed control before weed establishment.
