Leonis is a premix insecticide combining two active ingredients — Pyriproxyfen and Bifenthrin — designed for effective control of Whitefly and related pests in cotton. It offers both Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) activity and quick knockdown action.

Recommendation

• Cotton: 600 ml per hectare
• Pest - Whitefly
• Water Volume: 500 liters per hectare 
• Apply as foliar spray when pest population begins to appear, before reaching Economic Threshold Level (ETL) 
• Mix the recommended dose in a small portion of water with agitation, then add the remaining water with continuous agitation 
• Ensure uniform coverage of foliage for best control 

Mode of Action

• Pyriproxyfen acts as an IGR — prevents egg hatching, inhibits metamorphosis of nymph to adult, and causes sterility in adults
• Bifenthrin provides contact and stomach action by affecting the insect nervous system, leading to paralysis and death
