Katyayani Z-SOL – Zinc Solubilizing Bacteria Biofertilizer

Katyayani Z-SOL is a zinc-solubilizing bacterial biofertilizer that helps convert insoluble zinc compounds in the soil into soluble zinc ions (Zn²⁺), making zinc more available for plant uptake. Improved zinc availability supports healthy plant growth, photosynthesis, root development, seed formation and crop quality.

Benefits

  • Improves Zinc Availability: Helps make soil-bound zinc more accessible to plants.
  • Supports Healthy Growth: Helps maintain normal plant growth and development.
  • Supports Photosynthesis: Zinc plays an important role in several plant metabolic processes.
  • Encourages Root Development: Supports healthy root growth and nutrient absorption.
  • Supports Seed and Fruit Development: Helps meet the plant's zinc requirements during growth.
  • Broad Crop Suitability: Listed for use across cereals, pulses, oilseeds, vegetables, fruits and other crops.
  • Microbial Nutrient Management: Supports soil nutrient availability through beneficial microbial activity.

Target Deficiency

  • Stunted Growth: Slow plant growth, especially in young leaves and shoots.
  • Chlorosis: Yellowing of younger leaves associated with zinc deficiency.
  • Interveinal Chlorosis: Yellowing between leaf veins while the veins may remain green.
  • Poor Root Development: Weak root growth that can affect nutrient uptake.
  • Reduced Crop Quality: Poor seed and fruit development associated with inadequate zinc nutrition.

Target Crops

  • Cereals: Paddy, wheat, maize, sorghum and barley.
  • Millets: Pearl millet and finger millet.
  • Pulses: Chickpea, pigeon pea, green gram, black gram and lentils.
  • Oilseeds: Groundnut, soybean, mustard, sunflower and sesame.
  • Vegetables: Tomato, brinjal, chilli, capsicum, okra, cabbage, cauliflower and cucurbits.
  • Fruits: Mango, banana, papaya, citrus, grapes, pomegranate and guava.
  • Other Crops: Cotton, sugarcane, spices, flowers and plantation crops.

Mode of Action

  • Zinc Solubilization: Beneficial bacteria help convert certain insoluble soil zinc compounds into forms plants can absorb.
  • Improved Zinc Availability: Supports the availability of zinc in the root zone.
  • Plant Growth Support: Zinc contributes to normal enzyme activity, growth processes and plant development.
  • Improved Nutrient Uptake: Helps plants access soil zinc more efficiently when conditions are suitable.

Compatibility

Do not mix Katyayani Z-SOL with chemical fertilizers, pesticides or other agricultural chemicals. Apply separately unless the manufacturer confirms compatibility. Follow the storage and handling instructions on the product label to maintain microbial viability.
