Mode of Action of Metarhizium Anisopliae Bio-Insecticide

When spores of Metarhizium Anisopliae come into contact with an insect's body, they germinate and penetrate the insect's cuticle (the outer shell). Once inside the insect's body, the fungus grows and produces toxins that kill the insect. The dead insect's body becomes covered in a white mold, which is a sign of the fungus.
