Mode of Action
Katyayani Katal (2,4-D Dimethyl Amine Salt 58% SL) is a systemic herbicide that works by mimicking the plant growth hormone auxin. When absorbed by leaves and roots, it disrupts the normal growth processes of broadleaf weeds. This causes abnormal growth and cell elongation, eventually leading to weed death. The herbicide moves throughout the plant, affecting annual and perennial weeds as well as Cyperus species.
Compatibility
It is compatible with commonly used other chemicals but should not be mixed with fungicides or insecticides.
