Mode of Action
Hexaconazole belongs to the triazole group of fungicides. It inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component required for fungal cell membrane development. This interferes with fungal growth and development and helps control susceptible fungal diseases.
As a systemic fungicide, Hexaconazole is absorbed by the plant and moves within plant tissues, helping protect treated areas and providing internal disease management.
Important: Hexaconazole is not effective against downy mildew or bacterial diseases because these are caused by different organisms.
