Katyayani Growth Sarthi Fertilizer

Katyayani Growth Sarthi (BIO NPK Consortia) is a microbial biofertilizer formulated to support balanced crop nutrition through biological nitrogen fixation, phosphorus solubilization and potassium mobilization. It helps improve nutrient availability, soil health, crop growth and overall productivity.

Growth Sarthi is designed for use across a wide range of agricultural and horticultural crops, home gardens and nurseries. It supports sustainable nutrient management and can be incorporated into organic farming practices as per applicable recommendations.

Key Benefits

  • Supports balanced crop nutrition through nitrogen fixation, phosphorus solubilization and potassium mobilization.
  • Helps improve soil properties, nutrient availability and water retention.
  • Supports healthy root and plant growth.
  • Helps plants better tolerate periods of water stress.
  • Supports improved nutrient utilization and crop productivity.
  • Helps improve fruit and vegetable quality and may support better shelf life.
  • Suitable for organic farming, home gardens, nurseries and agricultural applications.
  • Provides a biological and sustainable approach to nutrient management.

Mode of Action

1. Nitrogen Fixation

  • Azotobacter spp. helps fix atmospheric nitrogen and convert it into forms that can be utilized by plants.
  • Azotobacter may also produce plant-growth-supporting substances such as IAA and gibberellins, contributing to root and plant development.
  • Azospirillum acts as an associative nitrogen-fixing microorganism and supports root development and nutrient utilization.

2. Phosphorus Solubilization

  • Phosphorus Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) produce organic acids that help convert certain unavailable forms of soil phosphorus into forms more accessible to plants.
  • This helps improve phosphorus availability around the plant root zone.

3. Potassium Mobilization

  • Potassium Mobilizing Bacteria (KMB) help release potassium from fixed or less-available forms in the soil.
  • Increased potassium availability supports important plant processes, including enzyme activity, nutrient utilization and development of fruits and vegetables.
