Flubendiamide 39.35% SC is a broad-spectrum insecticide belonging to the diamide group. It is used for the management of important lepidopteran insect pests including stem borers, leaf folders, bollworms, fruit borers, pod borers, diamondback moth and defoliating caterpillars.
Flubendiamide acts on the insect's muscle ryanodine receptors, causing disruption of calcium release in the muscles. This results in rapid cessation of feeding followed by paralysis and death of the target pest.
