Introduction

Distruptor is a unique insecticide technology designed to protect rice crops from major sucking pests, especially Brown Plant Hopper (BPH) and White-Backed Plant Hopper (WBPH). It also supports healthy and vibrant tillers during the reproductive stage of the rice crop.

Mode of Action

Distruptor enters the insect through oral or dermal routes. Its active ingredients act on the insect nervous system and disrupt normal nerve transmission, resulting in abnormal insect behaviour and eventual death.

Method of Application

• Prepare the spray solution as per the recommended requirement.
• Use 200 litres of water per acre, irrespective of the pump used.
• Ensure uniform spray coverage on all rice tillers and throughout the field.
• For better application conditions and to reduce evaporation losses, spraying is recommended during early morning or evening hours.
