Product Description

Tychi® Insecticide is a broad-spectrum contact insecticide from Nichino India with additional preventive fungicidal activity. It is formulated with the active ingredient Tolfenpyrad 15% EC and delivers rapid antifeedant action, ovicidal activity, and effective control of major sucking and chewing insect pests.

Tychi’s mode of action disrupts mitochondrial electron transport in insects, leading to rapid paralysis and death. It also exhibits ovicidal properties, reducing egg survival and inhibiting egg-laying in pests such as Diamondback Moth (DBM).

Recommended Dosage

Method of Application

• Apply Tychi as a foliar spray when pest populations are observed. 
• Use sufficient water (≈200 L/acre) to ensure thorough coverage since it is a contact insecticide.
• For preventive fungicidal action, apply at early stages of disease pressure.
