• Best time to apply JIKA in mango is between July and October.

Recommended Dosage

• 7–15 years: 15 ml/tree
• 16–25 years: 20 ml/tree
• More than 25 years: 25–40 ml/tree

Method of Application

Dilute the recommended quantity of JIKA in 5–10 litres of clean water. Apply the solution in a furrow 5–10 cm deep and about 30 cm away from the trunk. Cover the furrow with soil after application, or apply as a soil collar drench.

Precautions

• Use only the recommended dosage.
• Apply at least once during the season, as recommended.
• Use only on mango trees that are 5 years old or older.
• For sandy soils, reduce the dosage to approximately 75% of the recommended rate.
• For repeat applications, use 50–75% of the first year's application rate, depending on crop and soil conditions.
