Product Description

The right pH level in the nutrient solution is critical for hydroponics. A pH that is too high can cause the formation of insoluble substances, while a pH that is too low can be harmful to the root environment. The optimal pH level for most hydroponic crops is 5.2 to 6.4. Katyayani pH Down helps lower the pH of hydroponic systems.

Katyayani pH Down can be used with all kinds of hydroponic nutrients. It does not leave unwanted residues or elements, making it suitable for plants. It also helps improve nutrient absorption in the root zone.

Directions of Use

The quantity required for pH adjustment varies depending on the strength of the nutrient solution and the purity of the water used to prepare it.

• Water pH between 7.0 and 8.0: Mix 10 ml per litre of water.
• High water pH (8 and above): Mix 12 ml per litre of water.

Important Note

Do not mix the entire pH Down formulation into the system at once. Shake well before use. Add it to the hydroponic nutrient solution a little at a time, then test the pH. Repeat the application and testing until the desired pH is achieved.
