Mode of Action

Gramoxone contains Paraquat Dichloride, which interferes with photosynthesis in chloroplasts. In the presence of light, it rapidly desiccates green plant tissue, leading to quick weed death. Once it reaches the soil, it is tightly bound to soil particles and becomes inactive.
